Obituary of Eulalia Perez

Eulalia (Lala) Mendoza Perez, age 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 29, 2024.  She was born in Potreritos, San Luis Potosí, Mexico on February 12, 1933.

Eulalia was a resident of Salinas for the last 60 years. She worked in the agriculture and frozen food industry and ultimately retired from Simplot. She was married to her loving husband for 67 years.

Eulalia was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a strong, hardworking Christian woman, famous for her good cooking and green thumb.  Some of her passions were gardening, shopping and watching novelas. She always enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, and events where she could people watch.  Eulalia’s 91 years on this earth were a gift to many, as she was beloved by her family, friends and neighbors alike.

She will be dearly missed by her loving children: Mary Perez, Ester Vasquez, Raul Perez Sr., Lucinda Murguia, Jose Perez Jr., Jesus Perez Sr., Antonio Perez, Marina Perez: 19 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jose P. Perez and grandchildren Raul Perez Jr. and Cynthia Avilez.

Though Lala is now in Heaven, her light will continue to shine forever and will always remain in our hearts.  We are all very grateful for the time we were blessed to have with her.

Visitation will be Friday April 12, 2024 from 10am–12pm at Healey Mortuary 405 N. Sanborn Rd. in  Salinas.  Funeral service will follow at 12:30pm at the mortuary.  with burial to follow at Garden of Memories Memorial Park, 850 Abbott St. in Salinas.
