Obituary of John Anthony Martinez

John Martinez 63, of Salinas passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024. He was born April 30, 1960 in Salinas, CA. He was a lifelong resident of Salinas, CA. He was a master technician with MY dealership for 20+ years. John really knew his cars.

He is survived by his wife, Donna, sons Christopher and Timothy ( Stephanie). His sister; Molly Freilinger, brother; Dave Martinez (Rose) and his 2 grandsons; Mathias and Jacob. He is also survived by numerous nieces and a nephew plus his cousins. 

He is proceeded in death by his parents; Daniel & Carmen Martinez and brother Daniel Martins.

He leaves behind many friends who dearly loved him. John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. If someone needed help, he was always there. He will be sorely missed by all. 

Visiting will be on Friday April 5 from 12-5 PM at Healey Mortuary. On Saturday, April 6th at 1:00 PM, graveside services will be held at Garden of Memories Memorial Park in the back area. 

Celebration of life will be held May 4th in Spreckels. Time has not been determined.
