Obituary of Esteban Flores Pimentel

Esteban Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family in the early hours of Wednesday March 27th.  Esteban began his life in Salinas at the age of 15 years old. He worked in the agriculture industry as a migrant worker helping to support his family in Mexico, ultimately retiring from D’Arrigo Brothers Co.. He met and married Anita Fuerte and is survived by his wife Anita, sons Manuel and Jose Luis Ponce, three daughters Estella, Leticia, Teresa Flores, many grandchildren and one surviving brother, Leonardo Flores.

He loved attending the Salinas CA Rodeo, his passion was gardening, listening to music and spending time with his loved ones. He was a resilient man who accepted life’s challenges without protests.  He valued his family and devoted his life to us.

He will be missed by many. We will forever keep and take his life lessons with us during our lives journey.

Esteban is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Maria Flores, his siblings Margarita, Carmen, Filemon, Alvaro, Santiago and Ramon Flores.
